I am die hard Dr. Martens fan, so when I first saw those babies at work I was stunned. But not from excitement. I actually thought they were horrific. I seriously thought they were the most ugliest docs ever. And as such a die hard fan that was a quite a realization, like Dr. Martens made these, dafuq?!
But then I came to work one day and the manager asked me to style a festival themed outfit and I came by these and suddenly I don’t know why I but I thought why not try styling them. And then it hit me. Those boots are the phucking bomb!! What the hell was wrong with me for not recognizing their potential and amazingness!
I was absolutely obsessed and head on heels on getting them, but they were so horrifically pricey ( like 200 € ). And then they suddenly turned up on sale. They are finally mine!
DE: Ich bin ja bekanntlich ein Hardcore Dr. Martens Fan, daher war ich ziemlich erstaunt als ich diese Babies das erste Mal in der Arbeit entdeckt habe. Aber ich war nicht begeistert, ehrlich gesagt hielt ich diese Schuhe für die hässlichsten Boots die ich jemals gesehen habe. Und als Hardcore Fan war das eine komische Erkenntnis, dass Dr. Martens wirklich solche Schuhe macht, dafuq?!
Aber dann kam ich an einem Tag in die Arbeit und mein Abteilungsleiter bat mich ein paar Outfits mit dem Thema Festival zusammen zustellen und da lief ich an diesen Boots vorbei und dachte mir, naja wieso nicht, schauen wir doch mal was wir daraus zaubern können. Und da hat’s mich getroffen. Diese Schuhe waren der absolute hammer!! Wie zum Teufel konnte ich der Potential und ihre hammermäßigkeit nicht erkennen?!
Ich war also total besessen und wollte sie einfach ganz doll dringend unbedingt haben, aber sie waren so unglaublich teuer ( so 200 € ). Und da waren sie plötzlich im Sale. Jetzt gehören sie endlich mir.

Ohh, das kenne ich, ich habe das auch ganz oft dass ich etwas zuerst nicht mag und mich dann doch verliebe. Die Schuhe passen wunderbar zu dir und deinem Stil; toll, dass du sie doch gekauft hast 🙂
